John Clement has over 25 years of experience in the design and manufacturing of equipment for the fresh-cut industry. He has a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Lehigh University, a MBA from Indiana University, and a law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law. He also served on boards of two industry associations and on committees that developed equipment sanitary standards. John’s goal is to help customers to increase their productivity and product quality.

Troy Burns has over 30 years in manufacturing. He graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Bluffton University. He has over 25 years of customer service and management experience in the automotive market in areas of injection molding, metal stamping and forging. He joined Sormac in March of 2024 as General Manager and part of the sales team.

Terry Taaffe has over 25 years sales experience in industrial manufacturing and industrial automation. He has worked with all levels of manufacturing, production, engineering and management. He joined as from July 2024 the sales team, covering the Midwest area.

Michael Gautz graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in communication and business management. He later earned an associates degree in electrical technologies from Owens Community College. With experience working in manufacturing factories as well as at an engineering firm designing and building electrical enclosures for the automotive industry for the last decade or so.

Marsha Welch joins the Sormac Inc. team as office manager, bringing 20 years of experience in office management within the manufacturing industry. With this addition, our Ohio team is ready to help you with new solutions and follow-up services in a timely manner.
