Potato halving and quartering machine DMA
The machine has a stable frame, aligning rollers, and a cutting section with a centering and knife block. For equal and optimal filling of the potatoes, the machine is set up with a vibration chute. The machine has a frequency drive system.
The drive mechanism consists of rotating aligning rollers, which are driven from both sides of the machine on a conveyor chain.
The left knife block can have different knives than the one used on the right. The knife block can halve the product on one track of the machine and produce 4 or 8 segments on the other two tracks.
Product specification
The DMA-90 type potato halving and quartering machine has been designed for cutting potatoes into 2, 4, or 8 pieces with a diameter between 1” and 3 1/2” and a maximum length of 5”.
Capacity
The capacity of the potato halving and quartering machine is 32,000 potatoes per hour when filling by 70%. In relation to 3 oz potatoes, the capacity is 5,500 kg per hour.
