The dewatering belt removes excess water from the product after it has been washed. The feeding belts feed the product alternately between the dryers.
The shuttle belt evenly distributes the produce over the slowly rotating drum. After this, the drum accelerates to the set rotation speed. The drum is decelerated at the end of the drying cycle and the slanting position of the drum causes the produce to slide onto the outfeed belt.
The outfeed belt collects the product from the dryer and transfers it to the buffer belt.
It is possible to run the twin dryer with only one dryer, so maintenance on the other dryer can be performed.
