The cutting, washing and drying line for iceberg lettuce consists of:
- preparation table, type VBT
- belt slicer
- transport conveyor, type TB
- spiral washer, type SW-80 (2x)
- dewatering conveyor, type OWB
- centrifuge, type SC/NextGen
This set-up has been developed for the processing of hard leafy vegetables, such as iceberg and romaine lettuce and other (cut) vegetables.
The capacity of this cutting, washing and drying line for leafy vegetables is 4,950 lbs per hour.
